Roadmap
Planned items are labelled as plans.
Specification
Status is carried over from the 0.3 README and has not been re-checked for 0.4. Nothing planned is shown as shipped.
Download center
Version 0.4 is one live ISO for both real PCs and virtual machines. Direct links and checksums load live from GitHub.
CindraOS 0.4
One bootable live ISO for physical computers and virtual machines (live version, no installer).
You do not need to build an ISO: download a published image above. A SHA-256 is shown only when GitHub supplies one for the file; it checks integrity, not who published it.

FAQ
What is CindraOS?
An independent, Debian-based Linux distribution project. Current builds are live images.
Is it based on Debian?
Yes, Debian 13 "trixie" per the README. It is not endorsed by Debian.
Do I need to build the ISO myself?
No. One published ISO, used for both real PCs and VMs, is on GitHub Releases. Building is optional for contributors.
Is there an installer?
The ISO is a live version with no installer. An installer is only planned.
How do I verify an ISO?
Compute its SHA-256 locally and compare it with the checksum shown on the Downloads card, if one is listed.
Where is the source code?
Do not include passwords, keys or personal data. Review any logs before posting publicly. Nothing is sent from this page.
cindra terminal demo
Simulation only. Nothing is executed here and this is not a CindraOS install. It explains the documented cindra commands from the README; real output depends on your system, so none is faked.
Keys: Enter runs, ↑/↓ history. Also: clear, history.
Documentation
Links point to files visible in the repository. Search filters this list.
Build Center
For contributors and advanced users. Ordinary users can download published ISOs from Downloads instead.
This page cannot run builds. Draft, export, and use the real build.sh or the build-iso workflow in Actions. Stages below are planning examples, not the repository's verified workflow.
Advanced settings
Integrations: none connected. No tokens are stored or requested.
No artifacts: nothing has been built here. Real ISOs appear under Downloads once published as a release.
Development dashboard
Live public GitHub data. A passing workflow does not prove the operating system works.
Roadmap
Completed items come from the README; planned items are the README's own "not available in 0.3" list. No dates or percentages.

About CindraOS
A Debian-based live Linux with a red V, a dark XFCE desktop and its own command line tool, cindra. Boot from USB, use it, shut down, and your disks are untouched. The kernel, package manager and nearly all software come from Debian.
It is experimental: not every hardware configuration has been tested. Created by Daniel, MIT licensed.
